Elymentals was born from a simple but important question: can technology become a more aware layer around people—helping identify potential risks, understand what may be happening, and support a faster response when it matters?
The idea began with the consequences of help arriving too late.
Sometimes the challenge is not whether help exists. It is whether someone knows that help is needed, what has happened, and where it needs to go—early enough to act.
A personal experience and an industrial reality came together.
Elymentals was shaped by experiences that made the importance of timely awareness deeply personal, alongside years spent seeing how safety challenges unfold in demanding industrial environments.
A personal loss
The loss of a close friend during a trip to Leh-Ladakh created a deeply personal question: what happens when something goes wrong and help cannot reach a person in time?
Seeing the reality of industry
Experience across manufacturing and industrial environments showed us that even when emergency infrastructure exists, identifying an incident and reaching the exact person quickly can still be a challenge.
A different way to think about safety
Those experiences led to a larger idea: instead of waiting for a person or event to trigger the safety response, could technology become more aware of potential risks as they develop?
We monitor machines, production, quality and operations. Why shouldn't we also build better awareness around the people behind them?
In modern industrial operations, organisations can track equipment performance, output, downtime and countless other operational signals. Yet understanding the real-time safety conditions of the people working across a shift remains a difficult challenge.
Elymentals is exploring how wearable technology and connected intelligence can help create a clearer, privacy-conscious view of potential workforce safety conditions, unusual events and situations requiring attention.

Elymentals is being built by engineering graduates from India's National Institutes of Technology, with a combined four-plus years of experience across manufacturing and industrial environments.
Our experience spans power generation, automotive manufacturing and aluminium production—giving us firsthand exposure to the people, operations and environments where safety challenges are part of everyday work.
